Our family owned self storage client incurred £300,000 on Phase 2 of their self-storage facility in Norfolk, removing and encapsulating asbestos containing materials and fitting out cleaned up areas to expand the self storage capacity.
Tallex provided Land Remediation Relief consultancy, surveying the property, gathering contamination survey reports, analysing all the subcontractor breakdowns and supplier invoices and providing a detailed report for HMRC submission.
Identifying both capital allowances on the fit out and land remediation relief for the decontamination works, our service resulted in a £49,000 tax credit from HMRC paid to the client and £23,750 of tax savings over time.
