Self storage fit out works

Our PE backed client incurred £855,000 on their first self-storage facility in London, on repairs to the base building and fit out to create their first location. 

Tallex provided our New Expenditure Review Service, surveying the property, analysing all the subcontractor breakdowns and supplier invoices and providing a detailed report for HMRC submission. 

Our timely involvement ensured all first year allowances were identified and £125,000 incurred on repair works were expensed through the P&L rather than capitalised on the balance sheet. 

Our service will provide the client tax savings over time of £186,250.
